先天免疫是生物体非特异性、无记忆性的病原体防御功能，用以抵御病原体入侵的第一道防线，包括一系列的物理屏障系统、固有免疫细胞及固有免疫分子。先天免疫系统的细胞或分子会非特异地识别并作用于病原体。与后天免疫系统不同，先天免疫系统不会提供持久的保护性免疫，即不产生免疫记忆，且不历经克隆扩增，而是作为一种迅速的抗感染作用，存在于所有的动物、植物及真菌中。
