过氧化物酶体又称微体，是由一层单位膜包裹的囊泡结构，直径约为0.5～1.0μm，主要参与脂肪酸等脂肪的代谢和氧化应激的调节。过氧化物酶体普遍存在于真核生物的各类细胞 中，但在肝细胞和肾细胞中数量特别多。常见的过氧化物酶体标记物有Fox2p、Fox5p、Catalase、Peroxins、酰基辅酶A硫酯酶8等。
